The end of 2020 marks the third-way point in the timeline of the United Nations' 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development and their associated 169 targets.

Unfortunately, the progress towards the Global Goals was halted and has even regressed to some extent due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

​

That is why we are kicking off these final 10 years with our 2021 Global Goals Australia Action Challenge.

​

Every month, you will receive a calendar with an action for each day that works towards one or more of the goals. These actions will sometimes be research-based, activity-based, community-based or family-based! We have tried our absolute best to cater to all people to ensure everyone can participate.

​

You might find some actions which encourage you to consider your purchase decisions. We understand not everyone is on a $100,000 budget each year, but we encourage you to research into alternative purchases and switch to green products where and when financially and practically possible!

This challenge is about creating a movement of change as we leap into 2021 with the hopes that next year treats us kinder than this year has! We encourage you to post your journey on social media throughout the year and share this challenge with your family, friends, colleagues and community members.
